Job Description:

Dragonfly are looking for a technical Principal Consultant with a strong track record of delivering projects in complex environments. We need like-minded individuals, who are motivated to help grow our business by cultivating new and existing client relationships. We are looking for next-generation ideas, and a focus on disrupting and redefining the test, technology and business landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead and manage the delivery of a variety of client technology projects

+ Actively cultivate client relationships, acting as an ambassador for our brand and values.

+ Own the quality and timely delivery of test delivery within a technical testing discipline on a large project. Including all management, preparation, execution and reporting activities.

+ Produce necessary documentation, or run collaborative review sessions, to communicate important information

+ Utilise best practice test engineering practices such as advanced test design techniques, coverage monitoring, test automation, and continuous integration.

+ Responsible for coaching and supporting more junior team members

+ Responsible for innovation, and continuous improvement of testing practices.

+ European and UK travel is required

Skills and Expertise

+ Significant experience across multiple projects and applications in one of the below two areas:

  • Test Automation:Extensive experience designing and implementing multi-tool test architectures; integration with CI/CD; use of containers;and cloud infrastructure.

  • Performance Engineering: Extensive experience in performance architecture, modelling and testing.

+ Experience of at least one project applying agile and dev/ops principles in the testing phase

+ Experience in managing more junior staff during preparation and execution phases

+ Experience from at least two applications applying technical testing skills, using both commercial and open-source automation frameworks, with experience in at least one of Selenium, Cucumber, Unified Functional Tester, Rational Functional Tester CA LISA, RIT.

+ Excellent stakeholder management skills. Candidates must be able to articulately present concepts to senior management with a high focus on quality and accuracy, and whilst under pressure.

+ Strong understanding of market trends, dynamics and enabling technologies

+ Ability to balance day-to-day client delivery and new business development

+ Ideally, experience of Amazon Web Services cloud solutions, and continuous integration and deployment approaches.
