CLIENT PROFILE

  • Three FinTech software startups, all between Series A and B with investor milestones to achieve that include progress against a software roadmap

  • All three were at the stage of realising they needed help with testing

  • None were ready to pay the market rate for a full time senior resource focussed on quality

  • Typically using a mix of internal and outsourced developers and spanning multiple countries.

 

SOLUTION

  • Dragonfly provided a temporary test manager for each to manage the initial engagement and put a mid-level resource in-place

  • The senior technical testing engineers and test manager provided ad-hoc and on-demand technical testing expertise when required, with no ongoing commitment

  • Dragonfly also placed junior engineers at each client for six weeks to provide extremely affordable capability to kick-start test automation.

 

OUTCOME

  • For each client, they gained very affordable on-site capability, with supervision and support on an ad-hoc basis

  • Rapidly brought the client up to speed with testing best-practices and strategies to deal with their specific problems, without them requiring a dedicated senior resource

  • 20-50% of the application tests were automated by the junior engineers within six weeks.
